Education son...

In Can I Eat you did an un-Luc-e grind down that white ledge in Jersey. Fast forward to 2009 and recently a few people have started doing it, namely Jake Seeley 180ing out of it off stair ledges and Tony Neyer doing it down rails, did you ever think that grind would catch on? Have you messed with it much since that one clip?

Thats cool yo. I don’t know, once again I never think about things like that I just do things I want to do, if it catches on or whatever thats cool. Yeah I still mess with them. I actually just healed up from a broken wrist tryin one in Montreal at the Olympic Stadium big ledge.

UnLuc-e grind: The rider bunnyhops and lands the front peg and pedal on the ledge or rail, keeping the back wheel off the ground.
Luc-e grind: The rider must bunny-hop, turn the handlebars 45 degrees, and land the back peg and the pedal on the ledge and lean back, keeping the front wheel off the ground but not grinding the front peg on the top of the ledge either.

Lucky: The rider icepicks the rail while also having the pedal sliding to, but the front peg is below the rail.

Hang Five
Placing one foot on one of the front pegs and pulling the frame up until seat meets contact and a balance point is established; a rolling Endo. The foot not on the peg is used as a counterbalance.
Hang Ten
Similar to the Hang Five, but with both feet on the front pegs.
Hang Nothing
Similar to the Hang Five, but without either foot on the peg. Both feet are used as a counterbalance.

different, magic carpet is front peg and front pedal with the back peg above the ledge also heard it called the butcher grind since he made it up.
levitator is only pedal with both pegs above.

oder Karl Fail?:
You had a Hoffman ad back in the day where you were doing a grind down a rail that they called a “magic carpet grind”. But it was sort of hard to tell exactly what the grind you were doing in that sequence was, and kids have always debated exactly what a magic carpet grind is online, could you explain that one?

The magic carpet is your forward pedal down grinding while your pegs are above whatever your grinding.

Toothpick grind: The rider slides on the front peg only with the rear wheel in mid air.
Toothpick hangover : A toothpick grind where the rider hangs the rear end of their bike over the opposite side of the rail or ledge they are grinding.
Snaggletooth: This is an over to toothpick hangover. falsch!!! richtig: its a grind on your front peg and the oppo side's pedal. like a crooked grind for people with only two pegs

Derek Duster: bottom bracket and back peg; front end hangs down, below the rail
